Send
Pay any supported recipient, however they hold value.
You can send to:
- a @handle,
- a wallet address, or
- a recipient on a different network or in a different token, via smart routing.
How it settles, step by step:
- Enter the recipient (@handle or address) and the dollar amount.
- Instant, same-network transfers — if you and the recipient are both holding USDC on the same network, the transfer settles directly on-chain, subject to network confirmation (the fastest, cheapest path).
- Different network or token — if the recipient wants funds on another network or as a different token, StableAccount routes it automatically using NEAR Intents / 1Click, which swaps and settles across networks for you. See Chain & asset abstraction.
- Gas is paid in USDC via the paymaster — you never need a gas token.
- The recipient receives value; you get a record of the movement (see Accounting & reports).
Timing and success are not guaranteed — they depend on network conditions, routing, and third-party infrastructure, and a transaction can be delayed or fail.
On-chain transactions are generally irreversible. Verify the recipient, amount, network, and asset before confirming — StableAccount cannot cancel, reverse, or refund a completed on-chain transaction.
Confidential mode (optional)
Use confidential mode when you don’t want a payment’s counterparty and route to be easily visible to outside observers browsing the public blockchain. Read this honestly:
- Marking a send as confidential is intended to reduce how much of the counterparty and route is readily visible to casual on-chain observers. It does not make transactions private, anonymous, or untraceable, does not defeat determined analysis, subpoenas, or regulatory inquiry, and on-chain transactions are inherently public.
- Where confidential routing is not available for a route, the transfer runs as an ordinary public cross-network swap — the counterparty and route are visible on-chain like any other transaction, and the app labels this clearly when it applies.
- Confidential transfers may be limited by your pricing tier. See Pricing.

Get paid as ”$”, no matter how the payer holds money.
Ways to receive:
- By @handle — share your username; anyone can pay you.
- By address — share your wallet address directly.
- By payment link — generate a shareable link. Depending on availability, the payer can pay from a supported network, a supported token, a card, or a bank — and where the route completes successfully it is converted and settles in your account as ”$.” Great for invoices and one-off collections.
- By on-ramp — bring in dollars from your bank or card via Transak; it arrives as ”$”. See Convert to fiat.
How a payment link works, step by step:
- Create a link (fixed amount, or open amount where your tier allows it — see Pricing).
- Send the link to your payer.
- The payer chooses how to pay — crypto from a supported network/token, or card/bank.
- StableAccount (with 1Click for cross-network routing and Transak for fiat) converts and routes the funds.
- Where the route completes, the payment settles as ”$” in your account, with a record attached. Supported methods, conversion, and settlement depend on third-party availability and jurisdiction, are not guaranteed, and routes can fail or return funds.
Costs
Same-network USDC transfers are the cheapest path. Cross-network and cross-token transfers carry a solver spread (a small cost for swapping across networks — see Money & fees), and every operation pays a small network fee and gas in USDC.
