Payroll

Pay many people at once, each the way they want to be paid.

Pay many people at once, each the way they want to be paid.

How it works, step by step

  1. Build a list of recipients and amounts (by @handle or address).
  2. Each recipient can be paid on their preferred network and token.
  3. Choose the source: your account or a multisig (Safe).
  4. On run:
    • Recipients already on the home network (Base USDC) are all paid together in a single transaction — the cheapest, fastest path.
    • Recipients on other networks/tokens are routed automatically across networks (via 1Click). See Chain & asset abstraction.
  5. Gas is paid in USDC. Every payment produces an accounting record and can feed a payroll report (see Accounting & reports).
  6. Save the run as a reusable payment run to repeat it next cycle.

Sources and controls

  • Run payroll from a personal account or a multisig account, so a shared payroll can require M-of-N approvals before it executes.
  • Combine with Teams & roles to let finance build and run payroll while an owner approves.
  • Payroll availability and run limits depend on your pricing tier. See Pricing.

Costs

Batched Base USDC payments are the cheapest path. Recipients on other networks/tokens incur a solver spread on routing, and every payment pays gas in USDC. See Money & fees.
